Pam's Profile

Ooh, what can I say? I’m a bit rubbish at this, so I’ll probably sound really ordinary, but here goes.

Me and Vern, we’ve been together FOR-EV-ER! Childhood sweethearts, we were. He’s a bit older than me and he was the boy that all the girls had their eye on. And here we are years later, the two of us, still together, who’d have thought? Although he drives me crazy at times, I wouldn’t be without him (but don’t tell him I said so), he’s still got some of his boyish good looks (and all of his own hair), which is a bonus!

I suppose I’m a homebody at heart and I love my little house. It was a bit of a wreck when we first moved in, but we’ve worked really hard and have totally put our stamp on it, lots of lovely bright colours everywhere, and if we had those new energy efficient windows like them over the road, well that would be the perfect finishing touch. I’ll have to convince Vern first though, get him out for some window shopping. Of course, I’d have to treat myself to new curtains for the living room too, but I won’t break that one to Vern just yet (one thing at a time is best when it comes to him).

Apart from my home, flower arranging is something I love, although I’m not one of those posh arty types I hasten to add, just someone who loves her flowers. A lovely big vase full of my favourites would look
fantastic on the front bay window sill (there I go thinking about those windows again!).

I also love to cook, something hot and spicy usually and like to unwind watching
the soaps, which are my guilty pleasure (along with shoes, a girl can never have
enough shoes!). And that’s me, Pam!
